Location : Algorythm inside Nexus Shantiniketan Mall , ITPL main road, Whitefield, Bangalore

Parking in Nexus Mall and come to the Venue as Marked. There is enough parking

Security will guide you

Nearest Metro: is Pattandur Agrahara (Purple line) - Walking from metro to Venue is 1 km

1st round : 10:00 to 11.00 am

Pairing info is not put up yet. It will be shown on the day of the event about an hour before the scheduled start of Round 1 usually. This is done usually to add missing names

Venue Map

🛑🛑🛑( This is just locations of table clusters . You will be playing in the age group that you registered ) 🛑🛑🛑

We will be creating 5 volunteer + arbiter tables, one for each category. Each category will have designated area, with water station and fan

Categories will be displayed at entrance so that people can go directly to their designated area and arbiter / volunteer table..

Each table will have a number, the draws will mention the table number

The results will also be displayed category wise near the designated area

Parking Fees at the Mall

Flat fee for the whole day - Rs 80 for 4 wheeler / Rs 50 for 2 wheeler

Where are the washrooms ?

The washrooms inside the mall can be used

Where will the participant bands be distributed ?

At the venue entry at 9:15 am . Only participants with the bands will be allowed into the playing area

Where do Parents wait ?

Due to space restrictions at the venue, Parents can sit in mall amphitheatre .

For younger kids, in the interest of safety, we will announce in the whatsapp group or call you, when they want to leave the venue. They will be allowed to go only after the parent comes.

Is this a FIDE rated tournament ?

No, This is not a FIDE rated tournamen

Is KSCA registration mandatory?

Yes, for Karnataka resident

Is Cancellations or Transfers allowed ?

No, as mentioned earlier during registration, it it NOT allowed. We have already planned everything based on registrations received. It wont be possible to refund or make changes now. ( This is clearly mentioned in the Brochure )

Do we need to stay till 5 pm?

All rounds are mandatory for all players. If you leave after some rounds the opponent gets a bye and you lose points. Also, if you come late the opponent gets to start the clock and you are losing on time there.

Is food provided ?

Not really,

only 1 surprise Britannia snack will be provided per participant at the venue, after a tick mark on wristband

How many arbiters will be there ?

There will be 1 + 8 arbiters to manage the event

Totally How many games kids will play .?

7 except U16. It will be announced in players meeting

How to identify organizers ?

We will be wearing this wristband
