The tutorial does not explain parkour mechanics, doesn't show all mission types, and does not properly teach players how modding works. Modifying your gear is single-handedly the most important part of Warframe. The best guns in the game are amazing not because they do lots of damage by themselves, but they have great base stats that can be enhanced through mod cards. This extends to your Warframes as well, allowing them to use abilities more often or simply take more damage. Here are the best mods every player should have. Serration and Split Chamber are on every build for primary weapons in Warframe. Why is that? These mods increase the damage of your weapon by a substantial margin. More than that, however, these mods also increase the effectiveness of every other mod that adds damage! Multishot effectively doubles your damage, so these mods are essential on any build. After completing a late-game story quest titled "The Sacrifice", players will obtain these incredibly powerful mods for use on any Warframe. Two melee mods that are part of the Sacrificial set are also included. Not only are these mods upgrades or sidegrades of their normal counterparts, but they are also part of a set. The more mods from that set you use, the stronger they get. The problem is they use a unique polarity that requires an extremely rare Umbral Forma to add it on, but it is worth the trouble involved. If you want to maximize your items, you will want to use these mods. While not as strong as it used to be, Blood Rush is still one of the most powerful melee mods players can use. Almost every melee weapon in the game can critically hit with this mod equipped, so it is a good idea to farm this mod early and use it as soon as possible. Primed Target Cracker and Primed Pistol Gambit are the two strongest mod upgrades players can get on their secondary weapons. These will boost the critical stats on any secondary weapon by a tremendous amount, making the most powerful secondary weapons significantly more powerful. These can be bought from Baro Ki'Teer, a special merchant that appears in Relays every 2 weeks, similar to Xur from Destiny. While expensive, these mods provide such a massive damage boost that they are worth every ducat. You can earn ducats by farming prime parts and selling them at kiosks scattered throughout the Relays. Any player who has survived for hours in endurance missions will tell you that the single most impactful mechanic endgame is armor. Enemy armor scales to such ludicrous levels at higher levels that players need to find ways to eliminate enemy armor before considering how to damage them. Meet Corrosive Projection, an aura mod every great Warframe should use. It gives players mod capacity and strips enemy armor. When 4 players are all using this mod, enemies won't have any armor left. Get this mod when you need to do really high-level content. Knockdowns kill. Well, they do not do damage themselves, but they leave the player vulnerable for long periods of time. This is not an issue early on, but missions later in the game contain plenty of enemies that can knockdown players and kill them. Handspring is a rare mod that increases knockdown recovery by a massive amount. It is an exilus mod too, meaning this mod can be used in a dedicated utility mod slot to save space. Most elite Corpus enemies drop this mod, so keep a lookout while doing any Corpus related content. Serration and Split Chamber might be massive damage multipliers, but elemental mods are much easier to rank up and provide just as much damage. These mods vary for each weapon type, but there is a mod for each element: toxin, cold, heat, and electric. These mods can be used together to create secondary elements such as corrosive or radiation. These damage types come with their own elemental effects and damage bonuses. Generally, corrosive does massive damage versus armored targets, while something like viral does amazing versus fleshier enemies. Combined with damage and multishot mods, elements can increase a weapon's damage output by unimaginable amounts. Warframe abilities are powerful, game-changing effects that should be used by everyone as often as possible. Most abilities cost energy, however, and usually can not be spammed. That is unless you have high ability efficiency. The negative duration can be countered with Primed Continuity, Narrow Minded, or other duration based mods. The easily countered negative makes this mod one of the best in Warframe. This mod does not give damage. It does not improve weapon effects or give powerful bonuses, but it is equally as important as all of those benefits. Mobilize is one of the strongest mods in the game that lets players feel like speedrunners. Basically, this mod makes you better at mobility by a massive amount. This also means you can complete missions faster since mobility is increased, and more time can be spent completing content. Also, Aim Gliding— Warframes take on bullet-time—is just too cool to not use. Again, this mod does not increase the damage of weapons. Instead, this is a mod for your companion that lets the companion grab items in an Tedious tasks relating to grabbing resources or credits are a thing of the past. This mod will do all of that, while also grabbing nearby ammunition, health and energy orbs, and even mods. Not only will this mod make playing levels less frustrating, but it can downright keep you alive by grabbing ammo and health orbs nearby that you need.
