The Walfos set is defined by its sheer scale and material quality. It comes with three large 4-inch diameter molds made entirely from food-grade silicone. This means there is no chemical coating required to achieve non-stick performance, which appeals to anyone concerned about ingesting coatings that might chip off over time. The material itself is certified BPA-free and designed to be a permanent fixture in your kitchen rather than a disposable item.
In daily use, these molds shine when you are feeding a crowd or making substantial treats like gingerbread men or chocolate cake donuts. The flexibility of the silicone allows you to pop out baked goods without them breaking apart, which is a common frustration with rigid metal pans. You can also push the limits of the oven, as these withstand temperatures ranging from freezing cold at -40 degrees up to a scorching 500 degrees. This makes them suitable for everything from freezing batter to baking at high heat.
The main trade-off here is size. Because these are "big size" molds, they require a larger oven rack space and more batter per unit compared to standard muffin tins. If you have a small apartment oven or only want to make a few bite-sized snacks, these might feel oversized. However, for home bakers who value durability and health-conscious materials, the ability to store them by folding them flat and washing them in the dishwasher makes them a practical investment. I recommend this for anyone prioritizing longevity and safety over compactness.
This option stands out immediately because of the quantity. It is a massive collection of 24 individual silicone molds, each measuring roughly 3 inches. Unlike the larger single-unit pans, these are essentially cup-shaped molds that function as donuts, muffins, or jelly cups. They come in a variety of fun colors like blue, green, pink, and purple, which adds a playful element to the baking process. The material is food-grade silicone, ensuring they are safe for direct contact with food and free from harmful chemicals.
The versatility of this set is its strongest asset. While marketed as donut molds, the data suggests they work equally well for creating ice rings, chocolate cakes, bagels, mousse, pudding, and even soap. You can use them in the microwave, freezer, or oven up to 446 degrees. The flexibility allows you to simply bend the mold to release the contents, meaning cleanup is minimal. Storing them is also straightforward since the soft silicone can be folded away to save cabinet space.
However, the small size means you cannot make a traditional large ring donut with a hole in the middle. These produce solid, round shapes that resemble muffins or mini-donuts. If your goal is to recreate the classic shape of a bakery donut with a central hole, this product will not fit that specific need. Additionally, managing 24 individual pieces can be cumbersome if you are not careful, though they are great for serving multiple people simultaneously. I suggest this for parents hosting parties or bakers who want to experiment with various dessert types beyond just donuts.

Webake has engineered this set specifically for the modern air fryer enthusiast. The defining feature is the collapsible handle, which addresses a common pain point: how to safely remove hot silicone pans from a narrow air fryer basket without burning your fingers. The set includes three donut molds, each with four cavities, designed to fit snugly inside most countertop air fryers. The dimensions are optimized for this specific appliance type, ensuring better airflow and cooking efficiency.
These molds are made from food-grade silicone that is BPA-free and reusable. They allow for low-fat cooking, letting you bake donuts without the excess oil required for frying. The design supports both hobbyists and chefs who want to create healthier versions of their favorite desserts. You can use them for bagels, cakes, and other pastries, offering a lot of creative freedom within a compact footprint. The non-stick surface ensures that the baked goods release cleanly, preserving their shape.
The primary limitation is capacity. With only four cavities per mold, you are producing fewer items per batch compared to a full-size oven pan. This is acceptable for single servings or small households but may require multiple runs for larger gatherings. Furthermore, while the handles are collapsible, the overall design is rigid enough to maintain shape, so it lacks the extreme foldability of pure silicone sheets. I recommend this if you own an air fryer and want a dedicated tool that maximizes that appliance's potential without cluttering your oven space.
YINARONG offers a robust solution for those who want a mold that can handle extreme temperature swings. The material is described as having excellent resistance to both freezing and baking temperatures, spanning from -76°F all the way up to 500°F. This wide range allows you to use the same mold for making frozen ice cream donuts in the winter and hot baked goods in the summer. The set includes two molds, providing a decent starting quantity for regular use.
The non-stick surface is polished to reduce the likelihood of food adhering to the tray, which simplifies the release process. Whether you are a novice baker or an experienced chef, the design aims to provide a smooth experience. The molds are compatible with traditional ovens as well as popular air fryer brands, giving you flexibility in how you cook.
One consideration is the weight and bulk. The design focuses heavily on durability and temperature resilience rather than compact storage features like folding. If you plan to make a variety of frozen and baked treats interchangeably, this mold's thermal range is a significant advantage. I view this as a solid choice for enthusiasts who want one tool to do it all, regardless of the temperature.
Good Dee's breaks the trend of silicone-only molds by introducing a carbon steel construction. This 12-cavity pan is designed for the traditional oven and offers a rigid structure that many bakers prefer for consistency. The nonstick coating is applied directly to the metal, ensuring easy release of donuts without the need for excessive greasing. The rectangular shape and 12-hole layout allow you to produce a full dozen donuts in a single go, making it efficient for meal prep or family breakfasts.
The material choice brings specific benefits. Carbon steel is known for its durability and ability to resist warping, which can happen with cheaper metals. The even heat distribution helps ensure that every donut bakes uniformly, avoiding the burnt edges or raw centers that sometimes plague thin pans. The rose gold finish adds a touch of aesthetic appeal to the kitchen counter. It is also dishwasher safe, which aligns with modern convenience needs.
The trade-off lies in the lack of flexibility. Unlike silicone, you cannot bend this pan to pop out the donuts; you must rely on the nonstick coating and perhaps a spatula. It is also strictly for oven use, as the coating specifications do not mention air fryer compatibility or microwave safety. If you prefer the tactile feel of metal and want a sturdy, long-lasting tool that doesn't take up much vertical space, this is a strong contender. I recommend this for purists who want a classic baking experience with modern nonstick technology.
Fchil presents a minimalist approach with a single, 4-cavity silicone mold. The design is compact and round, perfect for those who have limited counter space or only bake for themselves or a partner. The stackable nature of the design means it can be tucked away neatly in a drawer when not in use. The material is 100% food-grade silicone, free from BPA, and capable of handling temperatures from -40°F to 446°F, covering all standard baking needs.
The non-stick surface is a key feature here, though the instructions note that applying a layer of butter before use enhances the demolding effect. This is a common trait with silicone bakeware, ensuring that delicate pastries don't stick. The flexibility allows for easy cleaning and storage, and it is safe for the microwave, freezer, and dishwasher. For someone who wants to make a few bagels or mini cakes without committing to a large set of tools, this single unit is ideal.
The main drawback is the low output. With only four cavities, it is not suitable for entertaining or large families. You would need to run multiple batches to serve a group. Additionally, the lack of a frame means it relies entirely on the silicone's stiffness to hold its shape, which works fine for small loads but might flex under heavy batter. I see this as a great starter pan or a backup tool for quick, small-batch baking sessions where convenience outweighs volume.
NutriChef returns to the metal category with a focus on professional-grade durability. This 2-pack of pans features six cavities each, allowing for a total of 12 donuts per set. The carbon steel construction is highlighted for its ability to resist warping and bending, ensuring consistent results over years of use. The non-stick silicone coating provides a barrier against sticking, making cleanup effortless. The pans are oven-safe up to 450°F and are dishwasher safe for added convenience.
Even heat distribution is a major selling point for this brand. The design ensures that the batter cooks uniformly, resulting in a softer texture and a fuller shape for the donuts. This is particularly important for those who have struggled with uneven baking in the past. The set is also marketed as a healthier option, being free from PFOA, PFOS, and PTFE, which removes concerns about chemical leaching during the baking process. The black color and rectangular shape give it a sleek, modern look.
Like the Good Dee's pan, the rigidity of metal means you cannot bend it to release the donuts. You must depend on the quality of the coating and proper cooling times. It is also designed specifically for ovens, lacking the flexibility for air fryer baskets. If you are looking for a reliable, heavy-duty solution that mimics commercial baking standards, this set is worth considering. I recommend it for bakers who prioritize even cooking and long-term structural integrity.
KASHME combines the best of both worlds by merging silicone flexibility with a metal-reinforced frame. This 2-piece set includes 6-cavity molds that are large enough to produce full-sized donuts, with each cavity measuring 3.25 inches. The metal frame prevents the silicone from bending or warping during baking, which is a common issue with purely silicone molds. This structural support makes handling easier and ensures the pan stays flat on your oven rack.
The material is premium food-grade silicone that is BPA-free and odor-free. It is safe for use in the oven, fridge, freezer, and microwave. The non-stick performance is highlighted as superior to standard silicone or metal pans, requiring no additional coating. After cooling slightly, you can simply push the back of the mold to release the donuts. The set is also designed for easy storage, either by stacking or hanging, which saves valuable cabinet space.
The size of the cavities means these are not for mini donuts; they are for full-sized treats. This requires more batter and a larger oven space. The combination of metal and silicone might also make the unit heavier than a pure silicone option, potentially affecting how easily you can move it around. However, the stability provided by the frame is a significant advantage for those who find flimsy silicone frustrating. I believe this is an excellent middle-ground product for anyone who wants the ease of silicone with the reliability of metal.
