1. Information We Collect
We DON'T collect your conversations, personal information, location data, contacts, or API keys. All data is stored LOCALLY on your device and never leaves it. Your API keys are securely stored in iOS Keychain.
2. How We Use Your Information
Since we don't collect your data, we can't use it. Your data stays on your device and is used only to display conversations, provide AI responses via your API keys, and sync between your devices if you enable iCloud.
3. Third-Party Services
When you use ChatMeAI, you communicate directly with third-party AI services such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. You provide your own API keys, and their privacy policies apply to your usage. We are NOT responsible for how they handle your data.
4. Data Storage & Security
All your data is stored locally using SwiftData and iOS Keychain for API keys (AES-256 encryption). We implement industry-standard security practices and regular security audits.
5. Optional Analytics
If you opt-in to analytics, we collect anonymized app crashes, feature usage, and performance metrics via Apple's built-in analytics. Analytics are completely optional and can be disabled anytime in Settings.
6. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data. All your data is accessible in the app and can be deleted anytime by deleting conversations or the app itself. EU and California users have additional rights.
7. Children's Privacy
ChatMeAI is rated 4+ and safe for all ages. We don't knowingly collect data from children. Parental supervision is recommended for users under 13, as AI responses may not be appropriate for all ages.
8. Your API Keys
Your API keys are YOUR responsibility. We store them securely in iOS Keychain, never transmit them to our servers, never log them, and delete them if you delete the app. We don't have access to them or use them for our purposes.
