Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 06 December 2025
1. Introduction and Scope
Messenger SMS Text Messages (the “App”) is a messenger for SMS, chat and text messages with themes and swipe actions, provided by Bright Solved (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use the App and any related services. It applies to all users worldwide, including users in the EU/EEA, UK, California, and other regions.
By installing or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App and uninstall it from your device.
2. Information We Collect
We collect different types of information to provide and improve the App.
a) Information you provide directly
SMS text content you send or receive using the App.
Draft messages you create and save.
Your preferences and settings (for example: theme, language, notification options).
Information you provide when you contact us for support (for example: email address, screenshots, device details you choose to share).
b) Information collected through device permissions
Through the permissions you grant, the App may access:
Your contacts (names and phone numbers).
Your SMS messages (existing and new).
Your phone state (for example, if you are in a call).
Notifications, alarms, and scheduled tasks.
Device wake/lock state to manage screen wake-ups.
More details are in Section 4 below.
c) Automatically collected information (usage, analytics, and logs)
Using tools such as Firebase, we may collect:
Device information (device model, OS version, language, country/region, app version).
Technical identifiers (for example: installation ID, advertising ID, Firebase instance ID).
Usage data (screens viewed, buttons tapped, features used, time and duration of use).
Crash data and performance data (error logs, crash reports, performance metrics).
d) Purchase and subscription information
From Google Play, we may receive:
Type of product purchased (for example: weekly/monthly/yearly subscription, “Remove Ads”, “Premium Lifetime”).
Purchase status (successful, canceled, refunded).
Country or region linked to the purchase.
Transaction or order IDs as provided by Google Play.
We do not receive your full payment card number or bank details.
e) No account registration
The App does not create user accounts and does not require sign-in. Your main data is stored on your device, and Google Play handles your purchase identity through your Google account.
3. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)
For users in the EU/EEA, UK, and similar regions, we rely on the following legal bases:
Performance of a contract:
To provide the App’s core functions, including sending, receiving, reading, and managing SMS, and providing scheduled messages and themes.
Your consent:
For certain activities where consent is required by law (for example, personalized ads or certain analytics and tracking). You can withdraw consent at any time by changing app permissions, device settings, or contacting us.
Legitimate interests:
To improve and maintain the App, fix bugs, prevent abuse, secure our services, understand aggregated usage, and show non-personalized advertising, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
Legal obligations:
To comply with legal requirements, such as tax, accounting, or responding to lawful requests from authorities.
4. Permissions We Use in Our App and Why
The App uses these Android permissions only for the purposes described and in line with Google Play policies:
Notification Access
Used so that alarms, reminders, and message-related notifications work reliably in the background and notify you on time.
android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Used to show notifications for new incoming SMS, scheduled message status, and other app alerts. You can control notifications in your device settings.
android.permission.SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM (Schedule Exact Alarm)
Used so scheduled messages are delivered exactly at the time you choose.
android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED (Receive Boot Complete)
Used to automatically reschedule and restore your scheduled messages after your device restarts, so they still send at the right time.
android.permission.WAKE_LOCK (Wake lock)
Used to keep the device awake briefly or wake the screen when a message arrives (depending on your settings), helping you avoid missing important messages.
android.permission.READ_CONTACTS (Read Contacts)
Used so the App can access your contacts and show contact names instead of phone numbers, and let you easily select recipients when composing messages. We use your contacts only on your device for messaging-related features.
android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE (Read Phone State)
Used to detect when a phone call is active, so the App can adjust behavior (for example, lowering notification sound during a call).
android.permission.READ_SMS (Read SMS)
Used to read your existing and new SMS messages so you can view your full message history, search past conversations, and restore messages inside the App.
android.permission.WRITE_SMS (Write SMS)
Used to save drafts, mark messages as read or unread, and manage message organization in the SMS database.
android.permission.SEND_SMS (Send SMS)
Used to send SMS messages from your device when you tap to send them in the App.
android.permission.RECEIVE_SMS (Receive SMS)
Used so the App can receive new SMS messages, show them in your conversation list, and send real-time notifications.
You can change permissions at any time in your device settings. If you remove some permissions, certain features of the App may not work or may be limited.
5. Data Storage and Security
SMS messages, drafts, contact data used by the App, and your preferences are mainly stored locally on your device.
Some data (like analytics, crash reports, and push notification tokens) may be stored on the secure servers of our service providers (for example, Google Firebase).
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect your data, such as:
Following Android security best practices.
Limiting access to personal data to people or providers who need it to operate or improve the App.
Using secure transmission methods where supported.
However, no system can be guaranteed completely secure. We work to reduce risks, but we cannot promise absolute security of information.
6. Third-Party Libraries & SDKs Used in Our App
The App uses these third-party tools. They may collect some information as part of their services.
Firebase (Google LLC)
Dependencies:
com.google.firebase:firebase-analytics
com.google.firebase:firebase-crashlytics
com.google.firebase:firebase-messaging

Remote configuration to change certain app behavior or settings remotely.
Firebase Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Converting data between Java objects and JSON format inside the App. It does not by itself send data to external servers.
Koin
Dependency: io.insert-koin:koin-android:3.5.6
Used for:
Dependency injection to make code structure simpler and more reliable. It does not directly collect personal data.
Lottie (Airbnb)
Dependency: com.airbnb.android:lottie:6.3.0

Used for:
Storing small key-value data (your settings and preferences) locally on your device.
Glide
Dependency: com.github.bumptech.glide:glide:4.16.0
Used for:
Loading and displaying images/media inside the App efficiently. It mainly works with local or network images used by the App.
These third-party tools must follow their own privacy policies and applicable laws. We aim to integrate them in a way that respects user privacy and Google Play policies.
7. Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking Technologies
Advertising
The App displays ads from third-party ad networks, including (for example):
Google AdMob / Google Ad Manager (AdX)
Meta (Facebook Audience Network) or similar partners (if integrated)
These networks may collect or receive data, such as:
Device identifiers (for example, advertising ID).
Approximate location (based on IP or general region).
App usage and interaction with ads (for example, impressions, clicks).
This information is used to:
Deliver ads (possibly personalized where allowed and with consent when required).
Measure ad performance and prevent fraud.
You can control ad personalization on Android through your device’s advertising settings (for example, “Opt out of Ads Personalization”).
Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users use the App and to improve it. Data may include:
Events (for example, screen views, button taps, feature usage).
Device and app information (version, language, region).
Where required by law, we ask for your consent before enabling certain analytics or personalized advertising features.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The App does not use traditional web “cookies” because it is not a website. However, similar technologies may be used by our SDKs and services, for example:
Device identifiers (such as Android advertising ID).
Local storage (DataStore Preferences) for your settings.
Tokens and unique IDs generated by Firebase or other services.
These technologies help remember your preferences, deliver notifications, measure app usage, and support advertising. You can manage some of these through your device settings (for example, advertising ID preferences, notification settings, and app permissions).
