These Terms of Service ("Terms" or "Agreement") are entered into by and between you ("User" or "you") and the ChatEngine operations team ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read these Terms carefully before downloading, registering, logging into, or using the ChatEngine mobile application ("the App" or "Service"). Please note that the App was formerly known as ChatHub AI and has been officially rebranded and renamed as ChatEngine. All references to "ChatEngine" or "the App" herein shall apply to the ongoing services of the application under its new branding, seamlessly replacing all previous documentation. In particular, please pay close attention to provisions regarding disclaimers, user conduct, limitation of liability, and governing law.
By downloading, installing, launching, or using any part of the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease using the Service.
ChatEngine is an interactive mobile application powered by artificial intelligence. By integrating third-party AI provider application programming interfaces (APIs), the App delivers multi-modal conversational responses, text generation, image creation, and AI video generation services to users.
Service Modifications: We reserve the right to modify, interrupt, suspend, or terminate all or part of the Service at any time without prior notice.
Account Security: The App handles authentication and subscription management via third-party systems, such as Apple ID. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your device and login credentials. Any commands issued through your device or account shall be deemed your authentic intent, and you accept full legal responsibility for all activities occurring thereunder.
Age Restrictions: The Service is not intended for and may not be used by children under the age of 13. If you are over 13 but considered a minor in your jurisdiction, you must review this Agreement under the supervision and guidance of a legal guardian before using the App.
Certain premium features of ChatEngine (such as access to advanced AI models, image generation, and AI video generation) require a paid subscription or in-app purchases (IAP).
Billing and Processing: All monetary transactions are processed securely through Apple Inc.'s App Store payment system. Payments are collected directly by Apple and are governed strictly by the App Store Terms of Service.
Renewal and Cancellation: Paid subscriptions automatically renew unless explicitly canceled. You may manage your subscriptions and disable auto-renewal at any time via your iOS device's system settings (Apple ID Subscription Management). To avoid being charged for the next cycle, cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing period.
Refund Policy: Because transactions are managed exclusively by Apple, any refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple Support (reportaproblem.apple.com). Refund eligibility is evaluated independently by Apple according to its corporate App Store guidelines; we possess no technical capacity or legal authority to issue direct refunds.
In addition to subscriptions, ChatEngine offers consumable in-app purchases ("Credit Packs") that allow you to generate images and videos using AI models.
Credits are virtual goods and are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash, except as required by applicable law.

60 Credits for $4.99
200 Credits for $14.99
500 Credits for $29.99
Prices are as displayed in the App Store and may vary by region. Pack sizes and pricing may be updated from time to time.
Credit Allocation:
Subscribers receive 20 Credits per week as part of their subscription. For Yearly subscribers, Credits are issued on a rolling weekly basis, not as a lump sum.
Subscription-granted Credits expire 7 days after issuance and do not roll over.
Credits purchased separately (via Credit Packs) remain valid indefinitely.
Deduction Order: Credits are consumed on a first-in, first-out (FIFO) basis according to expiration date. You cannot manually select which Credits to use.
Usage Rates:
Standard image generation: 1 Credit per image
Advanced image generation: 2 Credits per image
Video generation (text-to-video or image-to-video, 4 seconds): 10 Credits per video
Regeneration: Each regeneration request is treated as a new task and will deduct Credits accordingly.
Non-Billable Features: Text conversations, image questions (Visual QA), and text-only replies in Image Transformer are not billed and do not consume Credits.
Subscription Refunds:
If Apple approves a refund for a subscription, all subscription-granted Credits associated with that subscription will be immediately forfeited, including unexpired Credits.
For Yearly subscriptions, any pending weekly Credit issuances will cease, and previously issued unexpired Credits will be forfeited.
Credit Pack Refunds:
Refund requests for Credit Packs must be submitted to Apple Support (reportaproblem.apple.com).
If Apple approves a refund for a Credit Pack, an equivalent number of Credits will be deducted from your account balance. If your balance is insufficient, your account may be restricted or suspended pending resolution.
Dissatisfaction with AI Output: Credits are consumed upon successful task completion. If you are dissatisfied with the generated image or video, Credits will not be refunded.
Core Content Disclaimer: ChatEngine operates strictly as a technical platform and aggregator; it does not directly author or generate any conversational data, images, or videos. The App utilizes API gateways to securely transmit your inputs to independent, leading third-party artificial intelligence infrastructure providers (such as models engineered by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, and other globally prominent developers) to compute and return outputs.
Video Generation Services: ChatEngine supports AI-powered video generation (both text-to-video and image-to-video). When you submit a text prompt for video generation, or upload an image for image-to-video transformation, your input data is securely transmitted to third-party video generation infrastructure providers for processing. We may update the list of providers from time to time as our services evolve.
User-Uploaded Images: When you upload an image for video generation or image editing features, the image is temporarily processed and transmitted to third-party AI providers. We do not permanently store uploaded images beyond what is necessary for service delivery, safety monitoring, and debugging. You warrant that:
You own or have obtained all necessary rights to the uploaded image;
The image does not depict identifiable individuals without their consent;
The image does not infringe third-party copyrights, trademarks, or privacy rights.
AI-Generated Video Content: Videos generated by AI are subject to the same disclaimers as text and image outputs. You acknowledge that:
Generated videos may contain inaccuracies, artifacts, or unintended content;
Videos are not guaranteed to be suitable for any specific commercial use without further verification;
We do not warrant that generated videos are free from third-party intellectual property conflicts.
Based on these technical characteristics, you explicitly acknowledge and agree to the following:
Unpredictability of Output: All responses, texts, graphics, videos, opinions, recommendations, or other outputs generated by third-party AI models ("AI-Generated Content") are calculated automatically via algorithmic protocols. They do not represent the consensus, stance, or policy of ChatEngine. We offer no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, truthfulness, completeness, timeliness, safety, or reliability of any AI-Generated Content.
Non-Professional Status: AI-Generated Content—specifically when intersecting with specialized domains such as medical diagnostics, legal counsel, financial investing, or psychological therapy—is provided solely for educational, technological exploration, and general entertainment purposes. It absolutely cannot substitute for face-to-face professional consultations or formal specialized assessments. Any reliance upon or decisions made based on AI-Generated Content shall be executed at your sole individual risk.
Automated Content Moderation: To guarantee a secure user environment and comply with statutory legal mandates and App Store policies, the App and its third-party AI partners reserve the right (but assume no obligation) to utilize automated safety filters (Content Moderation) to screen your input prompts and outputs. If any input or generation is flagged as illegal, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or highly inappropriate, the Service may terminate the underlying request instantly and reserves the right to restrict or suspend the offending account. Credits will not be refunded for tasks blocked due to content moderation, except where the deduction was a pre-authorization that the system automatically releases.
You agree to comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws while interacting with ChatEngine. You strictly covenant that you will not utilize the Service to engage in prohibited activities, including but not limited to:
Inputting or transmitting content that undermines national security, incites ethnic hatred, disseminates malicious misinformation, defames individuals, or propagates violent extremism;
Utilizing the App to orchestrate bulk spam campaigns, generate phishing mechanisms, deploy malicious automated scripts, or conduct digital harassment;
Engaging in reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or attempting to extract the App's source code, underlying API endpoints, or bypassing premium structural paywalls;
Submitting prompts or media materials that infringe upon the intellectual property rights (including copyrights, trademarks, patents), privacy rights, or publicity rights of any third party;
Using AI video or image generation features to create:
Deepfakes or deceptive media depicting real individuals without their consent;
Pornographic, sexually explicit, or child-exploitative content;
Content intended to incite violence, terrorism, or political manipulation;
Fraudulent representations of real events or individuals for malicious purposes;
Content that infringes on third-party intellectual property, including copyrighted video clips, logos, or trademarked characters.
Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate account suspension, content removal, and forfeiture of all unused Credits without refund.
Data Usage Protections: As outlined in our Privacy Policy, your text prompts, uploaded images, and generated outputs are transmitted solely to secure immediate service delivery. We do not sell, rent, or distribute your historical prompts, uploaded media, or personal data to third parties for commercial marketing. Third-party infrastructure partners operate under enterprise privacy parameters, which prohibit them from utilizing your ad-hoc data payloads to train public foundation models unless explicitly authorized.
The Application: All graphical user interfaces, branding assets, logos, core codebase, user experiences, and proprietary texts contained within ChatEngine are the exclusive intellectual property of the ChatEngine operations team, protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.
User Inputs: You retain all original ownership rights, or necessary licenses, to the input texts (Prompts), images, and files you upload to the App.
AI-Generated Content: The intellectual property allocation of algorithmic text, image, or video generations remains subject to evolving regional jurisprudential definitions and the enterprise terms of the underlying third-party service provider. To the furthest extent permitted by law, ChatEngine makes no monopoly claims over user-generated outputs. However, if you deploy AI-Generated Content for commercial ventures, you assume complete liability for ensuring such items do not inadvertently replicate copyrighted styles, protected trademarks, or third-party assets. You are also responsible for complying with any local laws requiring disclosure of AI-generated content (such as deepfake labeling requirements in certain jurisdictions).
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the ChatEngine operations team shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data use, loss of Credits, or other intangible losses resulting from:
Server outages, API disconnects, maintenance downtimes, latency issues, or unexpected technical migrations occurring within third-party AI provider systems;
Service interruptions or catastrophic failures induced by force majeure events, including hacker invasions, telecommunication standard overhauls, regulatory policy shifts, or state mandates;
Your failure to adequately maintain the privacy and physical security of your iOS device or account credentials.
We reserve the right to revise, update, or amend these Terms at our sole discretion to reflect shifts in commercial scope, statutory regulatory adjustments, or App Store review updates. Any substantial structural revisions will be communicated within the App through update interfaces, pop-up notifications, or by revising the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Your continued engagement with ChatEngine following the formal publication of amended Terms constitutes absolute and binding acceptance of the revised Agreement. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must immediately terminate use of the App.
The formation, validity, interpretation, performance, and dispute resolution of these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with standard international commercial customs and the laws of our operating jurisdiction, excluding its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms that cannot be settled amicably through mutual negotiations shall be submitted exclusively to the competent courts or arbitration panels located within our operating jurisdiction.
