Zixan stepped through the door to the lab quietly and made his way to the exam table. Meanwhile, Salix stood facing a large screen with various mysterious runes running across it.
"What is it that you want, Zixan?" He asked softly.
"It seems your sense of hearing is a good as ever." Zixan responded quickly.
"You should know by now that my blindness caused my other four senses to heighten to extreme measures. Not even your near-silent footsteps can go undetected by my ears."
"Well, we can continue this conversation another time. For now, I have task for you." Zixan says as a cloud hand lays a near lifeless body onto the table.
"Who is this? I sense a powerful energy within him. Wait...a keyblader, yes?' Why would you present me with a precious gift such as this?" Salix mused as he turned around and ran his hand across the keyblader's forehead.
"It's not a gift; it's a mission. It's a mission designed specifically for, to be precise."
"What do you want me to do? It's clear that you haven't forgiven me for my past traitorous actions." Salix sighed.
"It's quite simple, really. I want you to make a Nobody for me." Zixan said bluntly.
"But why? Don't we have enough as it is?" Salix asked as he returned his attention to the screen.
"Surely, you've noticed our numbers have been dwindling. The keybladers are coming in full force and it would only make sense..." Zixan was cut off.
"...to make powerful nobodies from the hearts of the keybladers we manage to capture. That's actually a good plan. However, there's a fatal flaw in it. Keybladers are extremely powerful. Only a handful of the members could actually solo one by themselves. The rest would get destroyed on the spot." Salix explained.
"That's why we send members out in teams of at least 3 or 4. It's more than enough to overcome a keyblader. Besides, this one wasn't too much trouble." Zixan expressed.
"Well, you're not exactly what I'd call weak. Anyway, suppose we do capture and convert keybladers into nobodies. What of their hearts? Are we just going to let their hearts be overcome by the heartless or could I possible modify..." Salix's voice began to trail off. "Oh, you're more clever than I thought, Zixan."
"So, do we have a deal?"
"You capture 'em and I'll work my magic."
