This Privacy Policy explains how the Android app Charging Animation: Battery 3D handles information.
The app does not ask for your name, email, contacts, photos or location, and does not sell your data. It has no user accounts and shows no ads. To improve the app, it uses Google Firebase to receive anonymous usage statistics and crash reports.
Firebase Analytics records how the app is used, for example which animation you apply, when the charging screen or an alarm is shown, and general device details (device model, Android version, language and approximate region based on IP address). It uses an app-instance identifier, not your name or account.
Firebase Crashlytics sends a report if the app crashes. The report includes device details, the state of the app (such as the selected animation) and technical logs.
This information is processed by Google under the Firebase terms and privacy policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy. It is not used for advertising.
To show charging animations and battery details, the app reads battery information from your phone: battery level, charging state, temperature, voltage, current, health, technology and charge cycles. This battery information is used only on your device and is not sent anywhere.
The app saves your settings (selected animation, display options, alarm choices, favorites and rating) and a battery history for the last 24 hours, which is used for the battery chart. This data stays in the app's private storage on your phone. It is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
Display over other apps: to show the charging animation and alarms on top of the lock screen.
Run in the background (foreground service and battery optimization exemption): to detect when the charger is plugged in while the app is closed. A small notification is shown while this is active.
Start at boot: to restart charging detection after the phone restarts.
Notifications: for the service notification and battery alarms.
Vibration: for battery alarms.
Internet: used only by Google Firebase to send usage statistics and crash reports.
None of these permissions are used to collect personal information.
Apart from Google Firebase (described above), the app does not share data with third parties. If you use "Share app" or "Rate us", your phone's share menu or the Google Play Store opens, and their own privacy policies apply.
Data stored on your device is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data. Analytics and crash data held by Google Firebase are kept according to Google's Firebase retention policies. To ask for deletion of any data linked to your app installation, contact us at the email below.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We rely on Google Firebase's industry-standard security to protect the data it processes. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
