FOREGROUND_SERVICE
Purpose: This permission enables us to keep the app running in the background, allowing it to monitor battery status continuously, even when the app is not in use.
Why It’s Needed: ChargeX needs to reliably detect changes in battery status and display the corresponding wallpapers and alerts when your device is charging or reaches certain battery levels.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE (Android 14+)
Purpose: This permission is required for Android 14 and above to maintain the continuous battery monitoring service.
Why It’s Needed: It ensures that the app’s core functionalities, like displaying charging wallpapers and battery alerts, are uninterrupted and continue to work on newer Android versions.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED
Purpose: This permission allows ChargeX to automatically restart and continue its battery monitoring functionality after your device reboots.
Why It’s Needed: Without this permission, the app would need to be manually restarted after every reboot, which could disrupt its ability to display charging wallpapers and battery alerts consistently.
