Charan Chantalakhana

The biography of this remarkable man from Thailand has generated much background information that exceeded accommodation within one volume. The book itself, which is freely accessible here, presents than integrated story of his life across 16 chapters. It details his pioneering scientific research with cattle and buffalo, his rise to guide research allocation for the CGIAR's Green Revolution Centers and Vice-Chair of the Board of the International Livestock Research Institute, and his post-retirement philosophical contributions to animal science and culture oriented to smallholder farmers.
