Ilona Teremi is the Franchise Owner of BNI Gold Coast and Tweed Shire Region, an organisation that remarkably aided nearly 500 local businesses in generating over $40 million in new business through referrals just last year. Before embarking on this journey as a Business Network builder, Ilona held a pivotal role as a Partner in a professional services firm, formulating strategic solutions for businesses of varied scales. Her dedication to BNI is evidenced by her proud membership of the BNI Beachside Chapter for almost four years, where she served in numerous capacities including Vice President, Membership Committee, Education Co-Ordinator, and Visitor Host.

Ilona's BNI journey began in Sydney, where she played a crucial role as the founding Vice President of a new chapter. Her commitment and exceptional performance led her to win several accolades like the Most Valuable Player Award in multiple years and the prestigious Black Badge, acknowledging her contribution in sponsoring 47 members into BNI. Recognising her unparalleled expertise, Ilona was invited as a speaker and presenter at the BNI Global Conventions in Bangkok in 2018 and Poland in 2019. Her achievements did not stop there; in November 2022, she was honoured with the BNI Global Award for exemplifying the Core Value of Recognition. In addition to her many achievements, Ilona is a co-author of the Amazon Best Seller in 3 categories, "Winning with Core Values."

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ilona is ardently passionate about elevating the representation of women on company boards and fervently advocates for novel workplace practices that empower talented women to make their mark in the workforce. Ilona lives with her loving husband Michael and their children Jada and Levi.
