風は太古の草原を駆け、遥かなる空へと舞い上がる。 故郷の地平線に、まだ見ぬ世界の輪郭を夢見た幼き眼差しは、 静かなる熱情を秘め、その無限の広がりへと旅立った。 大陸は広漠として国境は遠く、物理的な距離は嘲笑うように横たわる。 しかし、心に宿した夢想の翼は、この世界の地図を悠々と飛び越え、 私をそっと、未知なる彼方へと誘い、運んでいった――
幾千の草の波を越え、幾多の大地の息吹を肌で感じるたび、 異国の光景と出会い、葛藤の中で磨かれ続けた希望の光は、 いつしか、世界のどこにいても揺るぎない、一つの確かな羅針盤となった。 未知への恐れを抱きしめ、それでも一歩また一歩と勇気を胸に進み出せば、 地理的な境界も、文化の壁も、心の中に築いたあらゆる障壁も、 ただの影となり、抱いた夢は、確かに現実の息吹を帯び始める。
遠い草原の風に抱かれた魂は、もはや一つの場所に留まらない。 それは言語や文化、あるいは民族といった境界を越え、 グローバルな視点から、自分自身の無限の可能性を深く信じる力へと変わる。 私の小さな願いは、個人的な祈りではない。 それは大草原を渡り、海を越え、大陸を横断し、 遠く離れた世界の果てにまで届く、人類全体の大きな祈りへと変わっていく。 持続可能な未来へ向けた挑戦。気候変動に適応する智慧。 地球環境のレジリエンスを強化する意志。 これらは、一人の人間が故郷で抱いた小さな夢から始まった、 普遍的な希望と挑戦を求めるすべての魂への、壮大な讃歌なのだ。
夢は、どこまでも、そして誰にとっても自由だ。 空を舞う風のように、束縛を知らず、 たとえどれほど深く倒れ伏しても、 再び立ち上がる不屈の勇気となり、 私を新たな、そしてより広大な世界へと連れてゆく。
そして今もなお、遠く草原を越え、異郷の地で育まれたあの日の風は、 私の胸の奥で静かに、しかし力強く吹き続けている―― 未来を目指して羽ばたく、世界中のすべての旅人たち、 夢を追うすべての挑戦者たちの、揺るぎない道しるべとなるように。 彼らの心にもまた、この風が届くことを願いながら、私は今日も歩み続ける。
己道宣言
朝格吉拉図(CHAOGEJILATU)は、20世紀80年代初期に中国内蒙古自治区・通遼市の一般家庭に生を受け、父・寳音合喜格の四男として育った。その血脈は、大蒙古帝国の創始者である成吉思汗(チンギス・ハーン)の四男、孛儿只斤・托雷(トーリ)の末裔に連なる名門家系に属するとされている 。父から受け継いだ『武は一時代を、文は万代を創る』という哲学を胸に、2001年に日本へ渡航し、東京農工大学および東京大学にて基礎科学と応用科学の最先端を学び、2017年には筑波大学より環境学博士号を取得。
地理学・地質学・情報学を融合させた独自の学際的アプローチにより、地球規模で顕在化する複雑な環境課題に対し、革新的なソリューションを創出する。気候変動適応、土地利用の最適化、持続可能な資源管理といったグローバルイシューの解決に、科学的知見と現場での実践を両輪として貢献する。
これまで国際農林水産業研究センター(JIRCAS)や農研機構(NARO)など、日本を代表する研究機関の最前線で先端的な研究活動に従事 。リモートセンシングやGISを駆使した先端研究は、国際学術界や国連機関、各国の政策決定プロセスにおいて高く評価されている。その成果はSDGs(持続可能な開発目標)の実現に向けた国際的な取り組みを牽引し、より良い地球社会の創造に寄与する。
以人為本、教育優先(人間中心・教育重視)を信条とし、学術と社会を繋ぐグローバルな架け橋となる。デジタルメディアを通じて最先端の科学技術と地球環境問題を分かりやすく発信し、専門家から市民、次世代の若者まで、あらゆる層に科学的知見とインスピレーションを届ける。この科学探究と社会貢献を融合した活動は、持続可能な未来を担う次世代が世界へ羽ばたくための、勇気と希望の源泉となるものである。
BORN IN THE EARLY 1980S IN TONGLIAO CITY, INNER MONGOLIA AUTONOMOUS REGION, CHINA, CHAOGEJILATU IS THE FOURTH SON OF BAOYIN HEXIGE. HIS LINEAGE IS CONNECTED TO THE ILLUSTRIOUS FAMILY DESCENDING FROM BORJIGIN TOLUI, THE FOURTH SON OF GENGHIS KHAN, THE HERO WHO SWEPT ACROSS THE EURASIAN CONTINENT AND RESHAPED WORLD HISTORY. GUIDED BY THE PHILOSOPHY INHERITED FROM HIS FATHER, “MARTIAL PROWESS CREATES AN ERA, BUT SCHOLARSHIP BUILDS FOR ETERNITY,” HE MOVED TO JAPAN IN 2001. HE IMMERSED HIMSELF IN CUTTING-EDGE FUNDAMENTAL AND APPLIED SCIENCES AT TOKYO UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE AND TECHNOLOGY AND THE UNIVERSITY OF TOKYO, ULTIMATELY EARNING HIS PH.D. IN ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF TSUKUBA IN 2017.
HE PIONEERS INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS TO COMPLEX, GLOBAL ENVIRONMENTAL CHALLENGES THROUGH A UNIQUE INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH THAT INTEGRATES GEOGRAPHY, GEOLOGY, AND INFORMATICS. HIS CONTRIBUTIONS TO RESOLVING GLOBAL ISSUES SUCH AS CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION, LAND USE OPTIMIZATION, AND SUSTAINABLE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT ARE DRIVEN BY BOTH SCIENTIFIC INSIGHTS AND PRACTICAL FIELD EXPERIENCE.
THROUGHOUT HIS CAREER, DR. CHAOGEJILATU HAS BEEN AT THE FOREFRONT OF ADVANCED RESEARCH AT LEADING JAPANESE INSTITUTIONS, INCLUDING THE JAPAN INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH CENTER FOR AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES (JIRCAS) AND THE NATIONAL AGRICULTURE AND FOOD RESEARCH ORGANIZATION (NARO). HIS CUTTING-EDGE RESEARCH, PARTICULARLY UTILIZING REMOTE SENSING AND GIS, HAS GARNERED HIGH ACCLAIM WITHIN THE INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC COMMUNITY, AT UNITED NATIONS AGENCIES, AND IN NATIONAL POLICY-MAKING PROCESSES. HIS ACHIEVEMENTS ARE INSTRUMENTAL IN ADVANCING INTERNATIONAL INITIATIVES TOWARDS THE REALIZATION OF THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGS), CONTRIBUTING TO THE CREATION OF A BETTER GLOBAL SOCIETY.
