Graduate Student, GPN
Tiffany received her BS in Biology and Psychology on the Neuroscience Track with a minor in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. As an undergraduate, she studied the factors that influence cellular uptake of tau protein. Following her graduation, she worked as a research technician at Brandeis University where she studied the impact of tau on spatial memory and place cell formation in dorsal CA1 hippocampus. At BU, she has returned to molecular neuroscience to gain a deeper understanding of lysosomal stress and repair mechanisms to ameliorate disease pathology. Outside of the lab, she can be found paddling with her dragon boat team or lifting at the gym.
