Anne received her BS in Molecular Cell and Developmental Biology from UC Santa Barbara in 2022. At UCSB, she utilized stem cell derived retinal organoids to study key mutations implicated in retinitis pigmentosa. She was also involved in studying the early pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes through investigation of glucose metabolism. Now, Anne is studying neuromelanin and its lifecycle in dopaminergic neurons. In her free time she enjoys cooking, playing the bass, and crocheting.
