I envision a world where thriving individuals and families are the building blocks of safety, love, compassion, and unity within themselves, their families, communities and the world as a whole.
My mission is to transform lives by sharing my professional experiences, researching culturally relevant interventions, teaching, and offering culturally responsive psychological support to individuals, couples, and families affected by historical and current stressors both inside and outside of Cambodia. Most importantly, I aim to interrupt the cycle of intergenerational transimission of psychopathologies through rebuilding and nurturing systemic resilience at the individual, family, and coummunity levels.
I am dedicated to creating an inclusive, accessible, and accepting environment that embraces diversities and backgrounds. It is my responsibility to work toward social justice and provide care in response to the needs of the individuals and their families.
I strive to be genuine and true to my values in order to be both trusting and trustworthy. I approach each encounter with humility and sincerity.
I am driven by the strengths and needs of my community and the world. Through collaboration with clients and community members, I ensure the services that are financially, linguistically, and culturally accessible.
I believe that healing and growth happen in the context of empathic, strength-based, and compassionate relationships.
