I am a lecturer at the department of Economics, Econometrics and Finance at the University of Groningen.
My research interest focuses on econometrics. In particular, I work on the estimation of social and spatial interaction models .
In my work, I focus on estimation methods in evaluating the extent of social and spatial interactions among economic units and agents.
My applications address research questions in economic geography, regional and urban economics, economic history, and real estate economics using quantitative methods.
They also have broad applications in fields such as economic history, environmental economics, tourism economics, and agricultural and rural economics.
Additionally, they are adaptable to areas like network theory, finance and banking, crime and law enforcement, public policy and planning, health and epidemiology, transportation and infrastructure, and political science.
