Earth Surface Processes Laboratory

I am a master's student in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Oregon. I am currently a member of the Earth Processes Laboratory, working with Dr. Josh Roering. My research explores using seismometers and infrasound sensors to detect debris flows and rockfalls in Southeast Alaska.

I received a B.A. in geology from Washington University in St. Louis. While at WashU, I conducted research with Dr. Claire Masteller. I studied the partitioning of energy between surface volume loss and internal bedrock deformation during the impact of sediment on bedrock riverbeds.
