Help Build a New Course!
This will be a championship-level 18-hole course just 30 minutes away from Urbana-Champaign, and the CCDGC is helping to coordinate the effort to get it ready for play. We will be coordinating work days and looking for volunteers, so now is your chance to help built a great new course in the region!
Volunteers must be a member of the Champaign County Disc Golf Club or the Illini Disc Golf Club in order to be covered by insurance, and complete an Illinois Department of Natural Resources Volunteer Registration and Indemnification Agreement. Download and complete the Volunteer and Group Indemnification form for your group, and the Criminal History Disclosure and Release forms. All forms must be printed and signed before you begin working. Copies of the forms will also be made available at CCDGC events and work days.
Directions
Meet at the Pavilion Shelter, Skyline Dr, Oakwood, IL 61858.
From Champaign: Take I74 east to the Potomac exit 206, and turn left towards Potomac. Turn right on Glenburn Creek Rd, which is just after the bridge, and follow signs into the park. Continue straight past the 9-hole disc golf park, through the stop signs, and follow signs to the "Pavilion" shelter.
