Chamblee hosts a large water polo club based in the Chamblee and Dunwoody school districts. We welcome players in grades 6-12 from Chamblee High School, Dunwoody High School, Chamblee Middle School, Peachtree Middle School, and Kittredge Magnet School.
Our History
Chamblee hosted our first team - a co-ed Developmental team - in 2018. In 2019, we grew to an Intermediate level Boys team and a Developmental team.
In the Fall of 2021, we added a Advanced level Boys team and our first Girls team.
We now host four teams, a Co-ed Developmental team for 14U players, a Girls team, and both Intermediate and Advanced Boys teams.
State Champions!
Despite our short history, we have had three State Championships!
Although nearly all of our players start with no experience, in both 2021 (only three years after the team was founded) and 2023, the Boys Intermediate Team won the State Championship.
In 2023, the Boys Advanced team came in 2nd in the State Championship.
In 2024, the Boys Advanced team was the inaugural GWPL Champion (pictured here)!
Our Coaches
We currently have four coaches, Marshall Peters, Jerrick Neu, Cooper Hill, and Sean Mcgaha. Marshall, Jerrick and Sean play together on a local Master's Team, the Rainbow Trouts.
We are also coached by Taylor Simon, who is out of the country for this season.
We were formerly coached by Igor Molina, who was the founding coach for the team.
Our Seasons
Our teams participate in the GWPL Fall competition season, competing in games with other Georgia high school water polo clubs at weekend tournaments.
We also have a Spring development season, aimed at introducing the sport to new players and developing the skills of experienced players.
We encourage our players to participate on Chamblee's Varsity Swim Team between seasons.
Our amazing coaches!
