Thank you for using Challenge Coins (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
Challenge Coins is designed to minimize data collection. Most features operate locally on your device. Some features, such as account identification, syncing across devices, and sharing coins with the community, rely on Apple services including Sign in with Apple and iCloud (CloudKit).
If you sign in using Sign in with Apple, Apple provides the App with a unique identifier associated with your Apple account.
This identifier is used only to create and manage your account within the App.
The developer does not automatically receive your name or email address.
Apple may optionally share an email address if you choose to provide it during the Sign in with Apple process.
The App allows users to create and upload information such as:
Challenge coin descriptions
Images
Optional details related to coins
If you choose to share a coin publicly within the community, that content may be visible to other users of the App.
The App does not automatically collect your location.
If you choose to manually add a location to a coin and make that coin public, the location information will be stored with that coin and may be visible to other users.
The App uses Apple’s iCloud CloudKit infrastructure to store and sync certain information.
Depending on how you use the App, data may be stored in:
Private iCloud Database
Used for personal coins and private information
Accessible only to your Apple account
Public iCloud Database
Used for coins you choose to share with the community
Visible to other users of the App
Data stored in CloudKit is hosted and processed by Apple.
For more information about how Apple handles data, please see:

The developer may access content stored in the public CloudKit database using Apple’s CloudKit Console. This access is limited to purposes such as:
Moderating public content
Maintaining service reliability
Investigating misuse or abuse
The developer does not have access to users’ private iCloud databases.
The App relies solely on Apple services necessary to provide functionality, including:
Sign in with Apple
iCloud / CloudKit
The App does not include third-party analytics, advertising networks, or cross-app tracking.
Users control the information they create and share within the App.
You may delete or remove public information by:
Changing coins from public to private
Deleting uploaded content
Clearing profile information
Content removed from the App will no longer appear in the public database.
Local data stored on your device can be removed by deleting the App.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The App is designed to minimize data collection and uses Apple-provided account systems.
