Samosas (Chicken, Beef or Vegetable)
A crispy spicy signature snack. Deep fried triangular shaped pastry with savoury filling served with tamarind dip or chutney. Each and every samosa is hand made with our own masala mixture including onions and cilantro. At Chakula Hut we use minced meat for our beef samosas, & white boneless meat for our chicken samosas. Our vegetable samosas include cabbage, carrots, peas and potatoes.
Batata Vara (Potato Dumplings)
A Gujarati snack, spiced mashed potato dipped in a gram flour batter and deep-fried. Irresistible with a sweet and sour tamarind dip!
Kari Kebab (Round Black Kebabs)
Crispy deep fried beef meatballs with onions and spices. A Chakula Hut delicacy served with coconut chutney.
Potato Chops (Beef)
Tantalizing breaded and deep fried potato pocket with beef filling spiced up with garam masala, coriander powder, onions and chopped fresh cilantro.
Dar Na Bhajia (Lentil Fritter)
Indian version of Falafel but tastier! Deep fried golden patties with mixture of lentils and spices, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Served with chutney.
Nylon Bhajia (Potato Fritter)
Thinly sliced potatoes battered in chickpea-flour with garlic, ginger, spices and lightly fried. These are perfect served with tamarind chutney or ketchup.

An ultimate comfort food! Masala Fries are made from potatoes dusted with cornflour and fried until crisp and golden. The fries are then tossed with salt, chaat masala, chilli powder, turmeric and garlic powder.
Mogo or Cassava is a root vegetable native to Africa. A version of fries, deep fried in vegetable oil and seasoned with lemon, salt and chili. Served with our tamarind dip.
