Hi, I'm currently pursing my Ph.D degree, it's my 3rd year!, with Prof. Urbashi Mitra at University of Southern California (USC) in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Before this, I was fortunated to be advised by Prof. Song nam Hong. My research interests span the areas of Data Science, Machine Learning, and Statistical Signal Processing.
Specifically, I am interested in the discovery of simple yet expressive models, and the development of flexible and scalable algorithmic frameworks, accompanied by efficient and portable software tools. Currently I am focused on sketching algorithms on big data with limited observation and side information and randomized matrix approximation algorithms. During summer 2023, I am working as R&D data science intern in Dow for synthetic data generation.
In my free time, I am a big food & travel enthusiastic - especially, national parks, south eastern countries. I am outdoorsy, love biking, hiking, yoga and tennis! Ever since I moved to US, I became a big fan of NFL and NBA.
