I am a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I am pursuing my Masters degree in Computer Science with a focus on big data. In particular, I am interested in three aspects of big data - analytical processing systems, privacy-preserving querying, and analysis and visualization of high-dimensional data.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering in 2021, after which I worked as a Software Engineer at Walmart Global Tech in the Order Management Systems team. There, I was exposed to user-facing systems that handled large amounts of legacy data and captured business logic. Keen on exploring the developments in systems that consumed this data, I moved to MongoDB in the capacity of a Software Engineer in the Data Platform Engineering team. At MongoDB, I gained all-round experience working with enterprise data management systems, also scratching the surface of systems for Machine Learning (ML). Much of my research focus today is a result of these two experiences.

I believe that I thrive in environments that challenge my ability to innovate. I enjoy investing my time in creative outlets. I use my ability to gadget and draw straight lines (sometimes) to indulge in graphic designing, digital art, photography, and painting. I love to read and I'm always up for good old retellings of family and friendship. And even though it requires immense courage, occasionally, I write.
