This policy explains how information is handled by the iOS version of Chainfire: Tower Defense (the “App”). It is a single-player game with optional gameplay analytics and advertising. No account, registration or sign-in is required. The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase, Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) system permission is separate from UMP's advertising privacy choices and from our optional gameplay analytics choice. There are no advertising mediation adapters, banner ads, Firebase Crashlytics or Firebase Performance Monitoring.
Progress, unlocked levels, stars, virtual coins, upgrades, interrupted battles, sound and language preferences, privacy choices, play-time counters and reward receipts are stored locally. These records allow the game to resume safely and prevent duplicate rewards. We do not operate an account database or our own cloud-save service. Deleting the App generally removes its local data; Apple backup and restore settings may preserve copies.
Gameplay analytics is off by default on iOS. It starts only if you open Settings → Optional analytics, read the explanation and choose On. You may choose Off there at any time. Declining does not affect gameplay, progress or rewards. This choice is separate from advertising privacy choices.
When enabled, Firebase processes app-instance identifiers, device and operating-system information, language, app version, approximate country or region, app usage and the gameplay events we send. These cover game launches and sessions; levels, attempts, results and stars; time played; virtual coins earned or spent; upgrades; and advertising results. They help us understand usage, find gameplay problems and improve the App. Network services necessarily receive network information, including an IP address. These records are not described as anonymous.
We do not attach your support email, message, name, contacts or precise location to gameplay analytics. Firebase advertising-storage, advertising-user-data and advertising-personalization consent remain denied. Gameplay analytics is not used by us for personalized advertising. Turning analytics off stops new collection by this feature; it does not automatically delete records already sent. Development builds additionally restrict analytics to explicitly enabled debugging.
AdMob provides interstitial ads at eligible game transitions and optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch for an in-game benefit. Where applicable, UMP presents advertising privacy choices; the Apple ATT system prompt separately asks whether you permit tracking across other companies’ apps and websites. Your UMP choice does not override an ATT refusal, and ATT authorization alone does not grant consent for personalized advertising or for optional Firebase gameplay analytics. The App does not require you to allow tracking to play the game or earn normal gameplay rewards.
After UMP has completed successfully and permits an ad request, the App checks ATT. If ATT is authorized, the App does not force a non-personalized override: Google uses the actual applicable UMP signals to select an eligible personalized, non-personalized or limited ad mode. Personalized ads are possible only where the required choices permit them; ATT authorization or permission to request an ad does not by itself mean you agreed to personalization. Where personalized ads are permitted, Google and eligible advertising technology providers may use identifiers and combine information from this App with information from other companies’ apps or websites for ad targeting or measurement, as described in the consent form. If ATT is denied, restricted or still undetermined after the applicable privacy flow, the App explicitly requests non-personalized ads and disables publisher privacy personalization. AdMob publisher first-party ID remains disabled in every case. The App does not attempt to identify you by fingerprinting.
Non-personalized does not mean no data collection. Depending on applicable consent and device settings, Google and eligible providers may process IP address and approximate location derived from it, app- or device-related identifiers, device and network information, ad views and interactions, advertising data, crash information and performance or other diagnostics. We do not request precise GPS location. Purposes include ad delivery, selection, measurement, frequency controls, service operation, security and fraud prevention. Without permission for tracking, ads may be selected using game context, approximate location and device information rather than a cross-app advertising profile.
UMP obtains current consent information and presents applicable privacy messages before eligible ad requests. On a normal first launch, any applicable UMP message comes before a relevant Apple ATT system request; iOS ordinarily presents that ATT request only once per installation when permission is still undetermined. The App waits for this flow to finish before initializing the advertising SDK. If UMP information is pending, fails or cannot establish whether ads may be requested, no ad request is made. The providers listed in a UMP consent form are potential advertising technology partners, not a count of SDKs embedded in the App; not every listed provider necessarily receives data from every ad request. Your choices may result in personalized ads where permitted, non-personalized ads, limited ads or no available ad. Where UMP requires a continuing privacy-options entry point, Settings → Advertising privacy reopens its form. You can also change ATT permission in iOS Settings. Changing a choice affects future processing, not automatic deletion of past records.
A missing, declined or failed ad does not block normal play. A rewarded benefit requires completion confirmed by the ad service, not an ad click or consent to analytics. The App sets the maximum ad-content rating to Google’s General Audience rating. Settings → How ads are chosen explains selection inside the App. Settings → Report an ad lets you report inappropriate or age-inappropriate advertising.
Contact and ad-report actions open an editable email draft to support.nechapps@gmail.com. Nothing is sent automatically. The draft can include your message and diagnostics such as device model, iOS version, app version, country from device locale (not GPS), selected and unlocked levels, and play time. Review or remove these before sending. If you send the email, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to include so we can respond and investigate. Do not send passwords or sensitive personal information.
The game does not need access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, precise GPS location, Bluetooth or notifications. Internet access supports Google services, external policy pages and support links; core single-player gameplay does not require an account. Development test builds may display a local-network prompt for Unity development tools; you may decline it. This is not a requirement for gameplay.
We use local records to provide the game and protect save and reward integrity, optional analytics to improve it, advertising information to deliver and measure eligible ads, and support messages to answer requests. Where applicable, optional analytics and consent-required advertising processing rely on consent. Cross-company tracking for advertising is permitted only after Apple ATT authorization and any applicable separate UMP choices; neither permission substitutes for the other. Necessary service operation and responding to support requests may rely on performance of the service you request, legitimate interests in maintaining a secure and working service, or legal obligations, as applicable. Consent can be withdrawn without making prior lawful processing unlawful.
Information is processed by Google’s services and eligible advertising providers as described above, and by email service providers if you contact us. It may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety or security. We do not sell personal information directly for money. Definitions of sale, sharing or targeted advertising vary by law; applicable regional choices are provided through UMP.
We require service providers that receive App user data to protect it to a standard at least equivalent to this policy and applicable Apple privacy requirements. Google also explains its own roles and practices in the linked policies below.
Local game data and settings remain until removed by the App, operating system or you, subject to backups. Our Google Analytics property currently retains event-level data for two months and user-level data for 14 months; the user-level retention period resets on new user activity. These settings do not apply to standard aggregated reports, which can remain longer. Turning optional analytics off stops new collection by that feature but does not automatically delete data previously sent. You may ask us about the current settings or request deletion using the contact address below. Advertising and consent records follow applicable Google service settings and retention policies.
We keep support and ad-report emails while we handle the request and afterward only as reasonably necessary to document our response, investigate an issue, prevent abuse or comply with legal obligations; we then delete records no longer needed for those purposes. You can request deletion by email. Uninstalling the App or withdrawing consent does not itself erase information already held by a service provider. We do not have an account system linking a support email address to the App's identifiers, so an email address alone may not let us locate a particular provider record. We will explain what we can identify and which provider controls are available.
You can leave analytics off or withdraw it in Settings → Optional analytics; reopen Advertising privacy where available; change the separate ATT permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; use Google’s privacy controls and an ad’s information controls; remove local data by deleting the App; or contact support.nechapps@gmail.com for access, correction or deletion requests.
Depending on your location, you may also have rights to restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, opting out of certain processing, appeal or complaint to a competent data-protection authority. We may request proportionate information to verify a request without asking for unnecessary sensitive documents. We do not disadvantage normal gameplay because you exercise privacy choices.
Chainfire is intended for a general audience, not specifically directed to children and not offered as an Apple Kids Category app. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13 or the applicable local minimum age. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact us for review and appropriate deletion assistance. An App Store content age rating is not a statement that the App is child-directed.
Google and email providers may process information outside your country under their applicable service terms, transfer safeguards and privacy policies. We use reasonable safeguards and minimize unnecessary collection, but no electronic system is completely secure.
Advertisements, App Store links, email applications and external websites have their own privacy practices when you choose to interact with them. This policy page is hosted on Google Sites; Google may process visitor and network information under its own policy. That hosting is separate from optional in-game analytics.
