I joined the CFC team as a CNRS researcher in 2025. My research activity focuses on understanding the structure and evolution of liquid architectures in which interfaces play a dominant part (e.g. thin liquid films, liquid foams, emulsions). Complexity often emerges in those systems through a coupling between liquid flow and interfacial phenomena (capillary forces, interfacial rheology, transfers, etc). I therefore work at the intersection between (and borrow tools from) different fields, such as Fluid Mechanics, Soft Matter Physics and Chemical Engineering. My approach is mostly experimental, often using custom-made tabletop setups, in combination with modelling and/or simulations.
Hydrodynamics of liquid films (e.g. soap bubbles, liquid coatings);
Interfacial rheology and capillary phenomena (e.g. Marangoni flows);
Multiphase flows at milli- and microscales (e.g. confined foams, floating lenses).
