Hello Friends! If you're here, you've probably read our Support letter and heard we're going on a Mission Trip to Mexico!
We hope that you'll be joining us as Mission partners as we travel to General Cepeda this July by making a kind financial gift. As we mentioned in the letter, the trip will cost us nearly $4,000. It takes a lot to travel with a family of 7 to Mexico! And we'll be using considerable personal funds to make this happen. We're also entering in a spiritual way into the actual poverty that we'll be encountering by 'begging' for the balance of our needed trip funds. We're humbled to ask, but would you consider a gift of $100, $200, or even $350? Any amount, of course, will be appreciated! Some "give, by going," and we're so thankful to those of you who have decided to "go, by giving" and help us make this trip a reality.

Family Missions Company (FMC) has been operating a Mission house in General Cepeda for over 20 years and as a result has built up solid relationships with the people, as well as a good reputation with the local authorities, so that missionaries in this part of Mexico are known and welcomed. Our travel to and from Mexico will be chartered with an established Mexican bus company, which will take us directly from Atlanta, Georgia to the large city of Monterrey, Mexico. The familiarity of the bus company with the routes of travel and the border crossing will help us safely navigate the immigration process. To travel the remaining distance to General Cepeda, we'll be renting vans, and our FMC hosts will be meeting us and escorting us there directly. Once in General Cepeda, our mission group will be staying altogether at the FMC 'compound', a large traditional hacienda with rooms opening to a central enclosed courtyard.
