Cestora respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Cestora, the app may process:
- Email address used to create or access your account.
- Basic Google account information when you choose Sign in with Google.
- Data that you enter into the Cestora app, such as travel and road-book records, dates, distances, expenses, notes and application settings.
- Technical information required for authentication, security and proper operation of the application.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used only to:
- create and manage your Cestora account;
- provide the application's functions;
- save and synchronize your Cestora data;
- maintain security and prevent unauthorized access;
- provide support when requested by the user.
Cestora does not sell your personal information.
3. Firebase and Google Services
Cestora uses Google Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication and Firebase Firestore, for account authentication and storage of application data.
If you use Google Sign-In, authentication is also processed through Google services.
These services may process information according to Google's applicable privacy policies.
4. Data Storage and Security
User data is stored using Firebase services.
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration.
5. Account and Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your Cestora account and associated user data.
Account deletion is available from within the Cestora application and through the Cestora Account Deletion webpage.
When an account deletion request is completed, the Cestora account and associated user data stored for that account are deleted, except where retention is required by applicable law, security requirements or legal obligations.
6. Data Retention
Cestora retains user data while the account is active and as necessary to provide the application's functionality.
When the user deletes the account, associated Cestora user data is deleted unless certain information must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention or regulatory reasons.
7. Children's Privacy
Cestora is not specifically designed for children.
The application does not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond information necessary to provide its normal functionality.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Cestora's functionality, services or legal requirements change.
