Dr. Ioannis Papastaikoudis holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki, a M.A.St. in Mathematical Statistics (Part III), and a Ph.D. in Information Engineering from the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on the applications of distributed optimization, algebraic graph theory, and decentralized control within economic and financial networks.

His academic interests span several key areas of economics and finance. In economics, Dr. Papastaikoudis is particularly interested in mathematical economics and economic theory. In the field of finance, his work primarily revolves around portfolio theory and the exploration of network effects in banking systems.
