The CEPR International Virtual Organizational Economics (CIVOE) series draws together scholars with a keen interest in organizational economics, personnel economics and related subjects during the Covid-19 period. We will evaluate as we go along and see if there is potential to turn this into a more permanent forum. Seminars will be open both for theoretical and empirical approaches to Organizational Economics.
We are excited to announce the return of the CIVOE Seminar series in the fall. This time we have scheduled 3 seminars to take place on 5th of October, 9th of November and 7th of December 2020.
All seminars will take place on Mondays at 6PM CEST/5PM London/ 12 pm East Coast/ 11 am Chicago / 9 am West Coast. Changes to this scheme will be announced here. The meetings will take place monthly on Zoom (registration required, see below).
Our eighth CIVOE seminar will be on Monday 7th of December 2020. Our speaker will be Oriana Bandiera (LSE and CEPR) presenting on "The Misallocation of Women’s Talent Across Countries: Evidence from Personnel Data" with Nava Ashraf, Virginia Minni and Victor Quintas.

Each seminar lasts for up to 75 minutes.
The speaker's presentation lasts for 60 minutes. Throughout the presentation there will four breaks of 4-5 minutes for questions. Panellists and co-hosts are able to pose questions directly. Participants can pose questions in chat and will be called upon by the moderator.
After the speaker's presentation there will be an optional general discussion lasting appr.15 minutes.
Seminars will be recorded and available on the webpage a few days later. Please note that you may be recorded if you activate your video or speak during the seminar.

Any interested scholar worldwide is welcome to participate in the CIVOE seminars. You can join our mailing list here and we will send you an invitation to register with Zoom for each seminar. Keep in mind that invitations may be sent several days before the seminar, so you may not receive one for a specific talk unless you have joined the mailing list with enough advance notice.
