Make sure Centsibility has permission to use Face ID under Settings > Privacy & Security > Face ID on your device, and that “Require Face ID / Passcode” is turned on inside the app's Settings. On a device without Face ID, your passcode is used automatically instead.
Confirm notifications are allowed for Centsibility under Settings > Notifications on your device, and that “Remind me before it's due” is turned on for the bill in question. Reminders only fire for transactions marked as recurring.
Centsibility exports to a calendar named “Centsibility” using your device's own Calendar app. Confirm Centsibility has calendar access under Settings > Privacy & Security > Calendars, then check that the “Centsibility” calendar is toggled on and visible inside the Calendar app.
From Settings > Restore from Backup File, choose a previously exported Centsibility backup (.json) file. Restoring completely replaces whatever is currently in the app, so make sure that's what you intend — this can't be undone.
Centsibility's tax figures are simplified, state-level estimates meant for budgeting, not an exact paycheck calculation — they don't account for your specific W-4 elections, additional withholding, local taxes, or every deduction and credit. Use them as a starting point, not a substitute for your actual pay stub or a tax professional.
Try re-adding the shortcut from the Shortcuts app, or say “Log a transaction with Centsibility” or “Add to my Centsibility goal” directly to Siri. Shortcuts run on-device and require the app to have been opened at least once after installing.
All of your transactions, loans, goals, and settings are stored locally on your device — Centsibility has no account system and no servers. Use Settings > Create Backup File to save a shareable .json backup of everything in the app, and Settings > Restore from Backup File to bring it back on this or another device.

Centsibility respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it's used, and what is not collected.
All transactions, income and tax details, loans, savings goals, accounts, and calendar notes are stored locally on your device. Centsibility does not operate its own servers and does not transmit your financial data to us or to any third party.
If you choose to use the Create Backup File feature in Settings, Centsibility generates a .json backup file that you can share or save wherever you'd like, such as iCloud Drive, Files, or email — governed by whichever service you choose to save it to. We do not receive a copy of this file, and we do not have access to it.
If you turn on the optional app lock in Settings, Centsibility uses your device's Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode to unlock the app. This is handled entirely by Apple's on-device authentication system; Centsibility never sees, stores, or has access to your biometric data.
With your permission, Centsibility can add your scheduled payments and calendar notes to a calendar named “Centsibility” using Apple's Calendar framework. This only happens when you tap Export on the Spending Calendar. This data goes to your device's own Calendar app, and optionally whatever accounts you've connected to it (such as iCloud or Google Calendar) — never to us.
If you turn on bill reminders, Centsibility schedules local notifications directly on your device. No notification content is sent to any server.
Centsibility supports logging a transaction or savings contribution through Siri and the Shortcuts app. These requests are handled entirely on your device.
Centsibility is completely free to use and does not offer any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Centsibility does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software. We do not collect usage analytics, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
If you contact us for support, any information you provide, such as your email address or a description of an issue, is used solely to respond to your inquiry and improve the app. We do not use this information for marketing purposes.
Centsibility is not directed at children and is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
This policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes to the app or applicable law. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
