Welcome to CentSage. CentSage is designed to help you track budgets, spending, and transactions while keeping your financial information private. Your privacy is important to me. This Privacy Policy explains how CentSage handles your information.
CentSage does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal information. The app does not currently require an account, does not link to bank accounts, and does not send your financial records to an external server. The financial information you enter into CentSage, including budgets, spending entries, transaction history, notes, categories, and dates, is stored locally on your device.
Because CentSage does not collect your data, I do not use your data for advertising, analytics, tracking, profiling, or third-party marketing. Your financial information is used only within the app to provide budgeting and tracking features, such as showing budget progress, recent transactions, and spending history.
3. Data Storage and Security
CentSage stores app data locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and protecting it with available security features, such as a passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and device backups. If you delete the app, your locally stored CentSage data may also be deleted unless your device or system backup preserves it.
4. Bank Accounts and External Financial Services
CentSage does not currently support bank account linking. CentSage does not connect to financial institutions, payment processors, brokerage accounts, or external financial data providers. All financial records are entered manually by the user.
CentSage does not currently use third-party services to collect, process, sell, or share user data. If third-party services are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain what services are used and what data, if any, is collected or processed.
6. Data Sharing and Exporting
CentSage does not automatically share your data with anyone. If the app adds export or sharing features in the future, your data will only be shared when you choose to export or share it.
CentSage is not intended to collect information from children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
