Bike Generator

The Office of Sustainability has requested CentriSeed's assistance in making their Earthstock booth outstanding this year. The final product consisted of a bike generator circuit and a lighting box; the box had four different types of lightbulbs connected, each having their own level of efficiency and on/off switch. As people pedaled, lights were turned on in order of decreasing efficiency, so that the rider felt the difference in pedaling difficulty to meet the power demands. People had great difficulty (and a great time) trying to power multiple bulbs at once. The display surely drew a crowd, and expectations were definitely exceeded.
