The Forestry & Wildlife Department, Government of the Punjab, Pakistan (“Department,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Centralized Dashboard app (“App”).
The App provides authorized users with mobile access to the Centralized Forest Management System and associated departmental dashboards available through:

This Privacy Policy explains how information may be accessed, collected, used, stored, retained, and disclosed when you use the App and its connected web services.
By accessing or using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy applies to:
The Centralized Dashboard Android application.
The dashboard displayed inside the App through an embedded WebView.
Authentication sessions, cookies, and website storage created through the App.
Departmental systems, modules, and dashboards opened through the App where they are operated or controlled by the Department.
A connected service may provide additional privacy notices for its particular features. Where another notice applies, you should review it alongside this Privacy Policy.
The App itself acts primarily as a secure WebView interface to the Department’s web-based dashboard. The App does not independently require access to contacts, SMS messages, call logs, photographs, microphone, or precise device location.
However, the dashboard and its connected services may process the following information.
When you sign in, the system may process:
Username or user ID.
Password or other authentication credentials.
Employee, officer, contractor, or departmental identifier.
Role, designation, office, division, district, or assigned permissions.
Authentication tokens and session identifiers.
Login time, logout time, and authentication status.
Passwords are transmitted to the Department’s authentication system for verification. The App does not intentionally display or separately store your password outside the website’s normal authentication process.
Depending on your account and the dashboard modules you use, the system may process:
Name.
Official email address.
Telephone number.
Job title or designation.
Department, office, division, district, range, or assigned work location.
Profile or account details supplied by an administrator.
Information submitted through the dashboard may include:
Forest management information.
Nursery and plantation information.
Tree enumeration and inventory data.
Forest fire reports.
Encroachment records.
Timber-management information.
Complaint records.
Field observations and departmental reports.
Dates, locations, descriptions, reference numbers, and status updates.
Documents, images, or attachments uploaded through supported dashboard features.
Information about actions taken by authorized users.
The exact information processed depends on the modules and permissions available to your account.
The Department’s systems may automatically receive technical information when you use the App, including:
Internet Protocol address.
Device type and operating-system version.
WebView or browser user-agent information.
Date and time of access.
Pages, modules, and features accessed.
Login attempts and session activity.
Error, security, and diagnostic logs.
Referring and destination URLs.
General network and connection information.
The dashboard may use cookies, authentication tokens, cache files, and local website storage to:
Keep you signed in.
Maintain your authenticated session.
Remember relevant settings.
Provide dashboard functionality.
Protect the system against unauthorized access.
Diagnose technical problems.
These items may remain on your device after closing the App so you do not need to sign in every time.
You may remove locally stored session information by:
Signing out through the dashboard.
Clearing the App’s storage through device settings.
Uninstalling the App.
Signing out or clearing local storage does not automatically delete information already stored in Department systems.
We may use information processed through the App to:
Authenticate users and maintain login sessions.
Provide access to authorized dashboard features.
Apply role-based access controls.
Manage forests, wildlife, plantations, nurseries, timber, complaints, fire incidents, encroachments, and related departmental operations.
Display and maintain departmental records.
Generate reports, statistics, and management information.
Coordinate official activities.
Monitor system availability and performance.
Diagnose and correct technical problems.
Maintain audit trails and accountability records.
Detect, investigate, and prevent misuse, fraud, security incidents, and unauthorized access.
Comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, and government requirements.
Protect public resources and the Department’s systems, personnel, and users.
We do not use information processed through the App for third-party behavioral advertising.
Where applicable, information is processed because it is necessary for:
The performance of the Department’s public and statutory functions.
The management and protection of government forest and wildlife resources.
Departmental administration and official operations.
Compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Protection of the Department’s systems and legitimate security interests.
Performance of employment, contractual, or official responsibilities.
Consent, where consent is required by applicable law.

Users may also direct information to connected Department systems when they select modules or links inside the dashboard.
Service providers are expected to process information only for authorized purposes and under appropriate confidentiality and security requirements.
We do not sell personal information.
The dashboard may provide access to other forest-management systems, government services, manuals, videos, mobile applications, and external websites.
When you open another service:
That service may receive technical information such as your IP address and user-agent details.
A connected Department service may receive authentication information where single sign-on or automatic sign-in is supported.
The privacy terms of an independently operated service may apply.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services that are not operated or controlled by the Department. Users should review the privacy notices of such services before providing information.
The App enables shared cookies, website storage, and caching so that an authenticated session can continue between App launches.
Your session may end when:
You select the logout option.
The server expires or revokes the session.
