We stand in solidarity with marginalized communities in our region, questioning power structures and speaking out against the root causes of inequalities.
Our Chapter has sponsored events and speakers which help members learn about our community, local issues, candidates, and opportunities to get involved.
Our Members engage in civic actions to celebrate women's rights, elevate achievements, speak out against injustice, and call for change when needed.
We support and recognize women in our community who, through their leadership and by example, improve the lives of women and girls in our region.
Aug 4, 2025 - "It’s a stark number: 212,000. That’s how many women ages 20 and over have left the workforce since January, according to the [jobs numbers] released Aug. 1 by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. (By contrast, 44,000 men have entered the workforce since January.) The numbers show a reversal of recent trends that saw more women, especially women with children, finding and keeping full-time jobs."
