Centerfold Biography

Centerfold are a four-piece heavy-alternative band from Liverpool, UK drawing inspiration from the likes of Soundgarden, Radiohead, Turnstile, and Loathe. The band likes to combine energetic hardcore riffs with atmospheric soundscapes to create what has been described as a "sonic gut-punch". 

Forming in early 2023, the band quickly gained a reputation for being one of the most exciting acts in the Liverpool and UK-wide alternative scene. The band released their debut single "Rewrite Your Time" in September 2023 to critical acclaim and radio support from stations such as Planet Rock. 

In October 2024, the band followed up with their self-titled debut EP, featuring the breakout single "Last Dance". The song's traction was fueled by the band's humours, visually captivating videos across social media that have gone viral multiple times, helping to amass over 70,000 streams on the EP to date and garnering international radio play. 

Known for their high-energy live performances, the band have played consistently across the UK supporting acts such as Strawberry Lace, Bones Ate Arfa, and notably supporting Heavy Lungs at the Arts Club in Liverpool, while also selling out multiple self-promoted headline shows in Liverpool. 

Currently, the band are gearing up for the release of their debut album, I Thought I Was Alone, It's All Over, due to be released in May 2026. The band will be rolling out singles on the lead up to the album's release next year, with their highly anticipated single "The Fall" being released on October 30th 2025.
