Welcome to the CENT (Center for Emerging Network Technologies), a cutting-edge research facility dedicated to advancing the frontiers of future networks, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies. Our lab focuses on pioneering research in next-generation network architectures and artificial intelligence, with an emphasis on the following areas:
Future Networks:
We explore innovative network paradigms such as Information-Centric Networking (ICN), Content-Centric Networking (CCN), Named Data Networking (NDN), and Edge Networks. These architectures are shaping the future of data communication by optimizing how information is disseminated across networks.
Ad Hoc Networks:
Our research delves into the dynamics of ad hoc networks, particularly in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET), Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANET), the Internet of Vehicles (IoV), and the Internet of Drones (IoD). We focus on enhancing communication reliability, security, and efficiency in these decentralized environments.
Blockchain and Digital Twin Technologies:
We investigate the application of blockchain for secure, decentralized data management and the role of Digital Twins in real-time simulation and resource management. These technologies transform industries by enabling secure, scalable, and intelligent systems.
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning:
Our lab is deeply involved in advancing machine learning, deep learning, and federated learning techniques. We are applying AI to optimize network performance, enhance security, and enable autonomous decision-making in complex systems.
