Celestial Sync ("we," "our," or "us") is dedicated to protecting your privacy. This application is designed as an offline-first sound therapy, Solfeggio frequency, and binaural brainwave wellness tool.

We respect your digital privacy completely: Celestial Sync does NOT collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, location data, or device identifiers to remote servers.

2. ZERO PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION

We do not collect any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from our users.

- You are not required to create an account, log in, or provide any personal details (such as name, email address, phone number, or physical address) to use Celestial Sync.

- We do not run any user tracking, background telemetry, or behavioral analytics services.

3. LOCAL ON-DEVICE DATA STORAGE

Celestial Sync uses your device's local storage (AsyncStorage) solely to save your local application preferences on your own device:

- Saved custom frequencies and user presets.

- Theme mode preference (Light Mode or Dark Mode).

This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party. You can clear this data at any time by clearing the application data in your device settings or uninstalling the application.

4. IN-APP PURCHASES & PAYMENT PROCESSING

Celestial Sync offers voluntary in-app donations to support independent application development.

- All financial transactions and payment processing are handled entirely and securely by Google Play Billing (via Google Play Store).

- Celestial Sync does NOT collect, store, access, or process your bank account details, credit card numbers, or billing addresses. All billing operations are governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

5. DEVICE PERMISSIONS USED

Celestial Sync requests minimal device permissions strictly required for core audio functionality:

- INTERNET: Required by Google Play Billing services for in-app product verification and local web audio rendering.

- WAKE_LOCK: Allows uninterrupted audio generation while playing sound frequencies.

- FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK: Required for continuous background playback when the screen is turned off or when navigating away from the app.

We do NOT request sensitive permissions such as location, contacts, camera, microphone, or external file storage access.

6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & ANALYTICS

Celestial Sync contains NO third-party advertising networks (No AdMob, Unity Ads, etc.) and NO user tracking SDKs.

The application uses standard system libraries:

- Google Play Services (For processing optional voluntary developer support donations).

- @notifee/react-native (For displaying local countdown timer notifications strictly on your device).

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY (COPPA & GDPR COMPLIANCE)

Celestial Sync is family-friendly and safe for users of all ages. Because our application collects zero personal data, it fully complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We do not knowingly collect or solicit any information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU).

8. PRIVACY RIGHTS (GDPR & CCPA COMPLIANCE)

Under global privacy frameworks (including GDPR, CCPA, and CPRA), users have rights to request data access, deletion, or portability. Because Celestial Sync maintains no user accounts, cloud databases, or remote tracking servers, we hold no personal data to export, alter, or delete.
