Welcome

Hi there, my name is Cedric Luger. I completed my PhD in Mathematics at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in 2026, under the supervision of Ariyan Javanpeykar and Manuel Blickle.

This website is maintained as a temporary record of my research output while papers complete the publication and indexing process. 

My doctoral research focused on arithmetic geometry, in particular the study of rational points on varieties with the Hilbert property or the weak Hilbert property, and on conjectures in this direction due to Campana and Corvaja–Zannier. My work primarily concerned integral points, with an emphasis on general structural properties and on concrete applications to algebraic groups.
