Message from
Head of the Department, Prof. P. P. Lodha
The Civil Engineering Program of GEC Bharuch is fortunate to have 13 eminent faculty members among which 3 are already PhD and many others are pursuing. The department is well equipped with the requisite laboratories. The teaching-learning process, being entirely outcome based as per the NBA, elevates students' understanding and approach towards civil engineering core cources as well as peripheral courses.
Program Educational Objectives (PEO)
◼︎ PEO1 - Achieve expertise in planning, analysis and design of civil engineering structures with available resources and latest technologies.
◼︎ PEO2 - Cultivate skills for research and continues learning to achieve efficient, cost-effective and eco-friendly solutions of infrastructure developments.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSO)
Graduates will be able to:
PSO 1: Plan, analyse and design civil engineering structures using relevant codes, software, techniques and materials.
PSO 2: Perform relevant tests and surveys, and interpret results to provide an economical and sustainable solution to civil engineering problems of industries and society.
PSO 3: Construct, operate and maintain civil engineering structures as per the requirement and specifications with stipulated quality control.
