Ciao! I'm Cecilia — a language teacher, curriculum creator, and proud Trentina living in Buenos Aires.

I created The Italian Soup to bring together all the things I love: teaching Italian, sharing culture, and connecting with curious minds from all over the world.

Whether you're learning your first Italian words, continuing to improve your level or preparing for a trip, you're in the right place.

The levels of private or group classes are from 0-A1 to C1.

My approach is practical, student-focused, and inspired by real communication. Here’s what a typical lesson looks like:

Let’s Talk First
I always start with a picture and a question to spark conversation and activate vocabulary adjusted to your level.
Words That Matter
We explore useful vocabulary tied to the topic of the day, often with examples and comparisons in Spanish or English when needed.
Discover the Grammar in Context
You’ll encounter the grammar point through a short dialogue or real-life situation never starting with a boring rule.
Think It Through
I ask guiding questions to help you notice how the grammar works and reflect on patterns yourself.
Clear Explanation & Practice
We clarify the rule together, then practice it with fun and meaningful exercises tailored to your goals.
Let’s Use It!
Each class ends with a communicative activity roleplays, writing tasks, or games to reinforce learning and build confidence.
