Anthony is a dedicated and hardworking member of the DCRSD (Dudley Charlton Regional School District) School Committee, presently the incumbent in the Charlton 1 year seat. He is seeking re-election to the committee for the 3 year seat. Currently, Anthony is the Chair of the DCRSD Budget and Finance subcommittee and DCRSD Capital Outlay and Safety subcommittee.
Anthony moved to Charlton 7 years ago with his young family, bringing with him many years of experience in municipal government. With a passion for education and life-long learning, Anthony did not hesitate to join the School Councils of Charlton Elementary, Heritage and Charlton Middle School. In that role he immediately improved and strengthened all of the councils, fostered partnerships with the community to create a shared vision and increased recruitment dramatically.
He has shown the same zeal in his work on the School Committee, regularly collaborating with all stakeholders (parents, administrators, teachers, facilities, residents, town officials etc.) to meet the needs of students, seek opportunities to save money and balance the budget, and implement continuous school improvement.
Anthony believes all students deserve the opportunity to reach their full potential.
