OCC Qualification Rules

Qualify by standing in grade. Each grade will have at least one player qualifying. One players for every 10 players in a grade in that tournament, and then one more for the remainder. (e.g. If 20 Grade 2s, qualify 2. If 21 Grade 2s, qualify 3. If 2 Grade 11s, qualify 1).

Qualify by tournament score, not rating. If players tie with the same win score, then all will qualify. (e.g. 10 Grade 2s, if top 3 all have 4.0, then qualify all 3).

Players must be from Ontario.

Don’t count pre-qualified players. (As many of our registered players are already pre-qualified, the score required for qualification will be lower)
