Previous Experience

- I recommend watching Dr. Fatema’s videos on YouTube and writing notes with her on your slides. Then do a summary for all types and examples.

- If you don’t understand a point, read the book and underline the important parts from the book and summarize it.

- The book is very important to understand the material. The perfect combination would be the book + Dr. Fatema’s videos with notes on the slides.

For the lab:

- you might get theory questions so memorize the definitions and be ready for theoretical questions.

- Practice from the lab manual and understand the results and numbers on the screen, it should be enough.

Asma Bashamakh

I recommend understanding all the points in the lab to get a good grade. Try to take notes at the lab class to revise them before the quiz, because it is not easy to find resources that are exactly the same as our content. It is important to practice Packet Tracer labs as there is a lot of commands that you should memorize.

This course requires a ton of memorization and some understanding. You'll be learning about stuff like the OSI model which does require memorization. You'll also be working on a program called cisco packet tracer for your project in which you'll design a topology like a police network system. It's simple so don't worry much about it. You'll also use a program called Wireshark for the lab but won't use it in the project.

You need to study the book to get a good grade.

مقرر يحتاج فهم وحفظ في نفس الوقت تحتاجو تركزو على الرسومات بشكل كبير لانه كثير يجيبو منها لو انكم تحبو النتورك بتستمتعو حاولو انكم ماتنقصو درجات كثير
