Get off the highway and see if you can lose the van.

With a quick twist of the steering wheel, you drive your car down the nearest exit and off the highway. Your sudden movement seems to have surprised the driver of the white van but they follow you.

The stoplight ahead changes to yellow. You grip the wheel tightly with your now sweaty hands and race through the yellow light. The van follows right behind you. You give the car more gas as you turn onto a busy street.

The van can’t turn as fast as you and it falls back a bit. You cut over in front of a large delivery truck. The driver honks angrily and you quickly look back to see that the white van is trying to do the same move. However, the truck driver has sped up and is blocking the van from coming over.

You make a fast left turn onto another street. The van can’t follow you until the truck has passed. You make a few more turns and then park in a grocery store parking lot to catch your breath and slow your pounding heart. “What was all that about?” you wonder. “I better report this when I get into work” you decide.
