Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) empowers everyday people to bridge divides and build political will for effective climate solutions in Congress. We’re a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy organization focused on reaching climate solutions through our approach built on shared values, not political divides. 

The Cleveland Chapter of CCL meets virtually once a month to plan our outreach activities, which range from gathering signatures at farmers’ markets to installing educational public art to meeting with elected officials here and in D.C. This year, for the first time, the Cleveland CCL is hosting a satellite screening of the 24th annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival! Join us to view and discuss a wide variety of short films on topics related to the environment. Tickets are available here! 

Wild & Scenic is a film festival by activists, for activists. The 5-day flagship event is held annually in Nevada City and Grass Valley, California, featuring 100+ films plus workshops, talks, and more. Once the flagship festival concludes, Wild & Scenic goes on tour to 125+ locations annually.  

The Cleveland screening will feature 10 short films in a wide range of styles, but each one delivers an important message about the environment and what we can do to sustain it. There will be a brief intermission during which we hope to spark solutions-focused conversations and get to know our fellow local environmentalists
