From Categories to Connections: A Communication Skills Activity
Monday, April 6, 6-7pm MST
How can we improve communication with people around us? How do we overcome barrier of categories and truly see the person in front of us? Effective communication is essential for getting our message to more people and, ultimately, for generating support in Congress.
At Citizens’ Climate Lobby, Being Nonpartisan is one of our core values. Everyone, regardless of background or political view, is a potential ally. In a diverse state like New Mexico, building real connections requires seeing the person beyond the category.
Everyone interested in strengthening their communication skills is welcome to join!
