A limited number of 60 on-campus rooms are available at the conference rate and may be reserved until August 6, 2026. Any rooms that remain unreserved after this date will be released and can no longer be guaranteed for conference attendees.
Please note that on-campus accommodations may be offered as either private or shared units, depending on availability.
We encourage attendees to stay on campus whenever possible. Choosing on-campus accommodations helps simplify logistics and minimizes the need for coordinating off-campus hotel arrangements.
Shared accommodation: $65 per bedroom (shared bathroom), per night + HST + MAT
Private accommodation: $125 per unit, per night + HST + MAT

Local attendees who choose to drive to campus will be responsible for making their own parking arrangements.
The most convenient major airport is Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), approximately 125 km from Orillia.
Driving: Approx. 1.5–2 hours via Highway 400
Bus: Ontario Northland provides service from Toronto to Orillia
Free or paid visitor parking is available on campus.
Clear signage is provided upon entering the university grounds.
Ontario Northland Transportation Commission (ONTC) buses serve Orillia from Toronto and other Ontario cities.
From downtown Orillia, local buses or taxis can take you to the campus in ~10 minutes.

Best Western Mariposa Inn & Conference Centre – 5-10 min drive
Champlain Waterfront Hotel – 10-15 min drive
Best Western Plus Orillia Hotel – 10-15 min drive

Orillia offers a range of restaurants and cafés in the downtown area.
Grocery stores and pharmacies are easily accessible.
Weather: August is typically warm. No snow is expected. Light layers are recommended for evenings.
