A. It's different for everyone. Some are able to pass all four GED exams in two weeks, others need many months. It depends on your skills AND on your level of dedication to learning and success.

A. It can cost as little as $0! Right now, the Commonwealth of Kentucky pays for an Adult Education student's first exam attempt in each GED test content area in addition to paying the fees for GED Ready tests. Otherwise, Ready tests are $6 and Exams are $30-$36.

A: Distance learning students must check in at the Learning Center at least once a week. Other than that, online students may attend virtual classes and use our distance learning platforms.

A: 18-year-olds must submit an age waiver signed by the Clay County Public School System's Director of Pupil Personnel; 90 days after withdrawal, 18-year-olds may enroll with CCAE. Otherwise, individuals must be at least 19 years of age to enroll.
