Swim Program
The Charles B Osborn Swim program is a program designed to help adults and teens ages 16 and up learn to swim in a welcoming and comfortable environment. The program is designed to help develop skills needed to float and rescue those from the water, as well as build a foundation for higher level swim concepts such as lap swimming or swimming in the ocean.
The program dates for the first session are currently September 26-29, and September 25 for volunteer swim instructors. the program will take place between the hours of 6-7 PM
No, this program is designed by myself, as part of my Eagle Scout project, there fore the program is free of charge. An eagle scout project is a part of the Boy Scouts Of America program and is one of the final obstacles a young man must face before he can reach the rank of Eagle Scout. The requirements for these projects are numerous, but most importantly it must be something that benefits the community. Therefore no payment can be taken for any services during this project and all donations must go to a program or organization of some sort.
If you are a comfortable adult swimmer, over the age of 16, then we would love to have you come and help volunteer to teach skills to our participants, we will have several different positions in need of filling, And could use help in any way you can give it.

Why Charles B Osborn?
The program is named after a dear friend of mine, Charles, who was a scout with me. we had been doing scouting for about 5 years together and planned on doing our projects together. But shortly before we were able to start working on our projects he had to move to Virginia. So to make it feel like he was part of my project I named it after him.
