We aim to design effective interactions by deepening the understanding of human behavior through multi-modal data patterns. To achieve this, we identify the latent needs of potential users and engage stakeholders in a participatory design process. We then translate these insights into robust AI-infused systems and models, validating their real-world efficacy through rigorous user studies.
Guided by our motto, "Designing What Works, Building What Matters," we strive to bridge the gap between technical innovation and practical utility. We are committed to ensuring that our research goes beyond academic novelty to deliver tangible solutions that genuinely improve human lives.
Our Research Areas
Our research interests center on Human-AI Interaction, Computing for Well-being, Immersive Interaction, and Time-Series Analysis.
Joining HCI Lab
We are looking for self-motivated and enthusiastic graduate students and undergraduate research interns. If you are interested in joining our team or have any inquiries, feel free to reach out to us via bogoan@cbnu.ac.kr (with a brief introduction of yourself and your CV and transcript). For prospective graduate students, we strongly prefer candidates who have prior experience working with us (e.g., as an intern) to ensure a mutual fit before formal admission.
